Welcome to DRSmith Custom Guitars!

All my guitars are made from vintage wood crates from the 1940's through the 2000's. These crate slats are used for the top with a pine or poplar piece in the middle and birch or other material on the back. Then they are given a Tru-Oil or lacquer finish.

Most of the necks are recycled. They are checked for quailty before being used.

The hardware and electronics are either new or gently used.
